Easy, yummy, and so pretty looking!
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup softened butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips OR 1/2 cup chocolate and 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
Directions:
In a stand mixer combine the peanut butter, softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat until creamy and fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla, mix until combined.
With the mixer on low add the flour and salt. Mix until just combined, not over working the batter.
Grease a 9x13 pan and add the batter, spread it evenly. Sprinkle the chocolate/peanut butter chips on top. Don't mix them in.
Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes, remove from the oven and use a knife to swirl the melted chocolate chips into the cookie batter. It should look marbleized, not completely mixed in.
Put the pan back in the oven for an additional 20-25 minutes. When a toothpick comes out clean, they are ready
Cool and cut the cookie bars!
