This crisp recipe is a family favorite. Usually made with apples unless it's peach season (insert drool emoji here).
Ingredients:
Peach mix
6-7 cups peeled and sliced peaches (approx.)
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 tablespoon cornstarch
*You can change the sugar amounts depending on the sweetness of your fruit, it's very adaptable
Crumb topping
1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup quick oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 sticks very cold butter
Directions:
Combine the peaches with the sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch. Set aside.
In a food processor combine the crumb topping dry ingredients. Cut the butter into small pieces and add. Pulse the food processor until it resembles crumbs. You can also do this process with a fork or pastry cutter.
Put the fruit mixture in a 9x13 casserole dish sprayed with nonstick spray. Layer the crumb topping over the fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until golden.
Serve as is, with whipped cream, or ice cream.
